I am deeply influenced by brutalist architecture when making this. In fact the building in the middle is inspired (if not resembled) the 3rd church of Christ in Washington DC. I just thought it was amusing to have a building totally made from concrete and served almost like icon to the vicinity.

Although fun to draw, in reality, brutalist architecture is said to be a unfriendly to the environment. Even if I’m not an architect, I can see why. All the references that I gathered depict aged buildings with weathered concretes and spoiled paintwork. They just stood there like colossus made of concrete that irritate you in the eye. Not really aesthetically beautiful, especially for urban planning.
